Aisha Hinds, an American actress who is best known for playing roles in the television series The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut, she's shown her versatility by performing on series such as Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. The year 2005 was the year she received attention first for her performance as Anna In Assault on Precinct 13 But it was her portrayal of the women's rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer from the documentary film All the Way that finally made her an actress. Hind received praise for her performance as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historic drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 9-1-1 has been renewed for the third series with 20th Century Fox Television. Hind has recently completed shooting on the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which is scheduled to be released in the middle of 2019.
